Following are the
conditions under which NDASA teams are automatically moved up in
classification (the list can also be found in the
Manager's Handbook).
They are not challengeable unless otherwise stated.
-
Some
teams will be moved up a class as a result of their placement or
winning some games in last years state tournaments.
-
Teams
that challenged up for State Tournaments and won 2 games at the
State Tournament (not including wins via forfeit) must remain the
classification they challenged up to.
-
New
teams created with 4 or more players from an old team will be
classified, at a minimum, the same classification as the old team's
classification.
-
The
following limitations have been placed upon each specific men's
classification:
-
Class A - may have no more than 5 players from the ASA
Restricted Player List
-
Class B - may have no more than 3 A rated players, but no
A+ rated players and no Restricted Players
-
Class C - may have no more than 3 B rated players, but no
A or B+ rated players
-
Class D - may have no more than 3 C rated players, but no
A, B or C+ rated players
-
Class E/Rec I - may have no more than 3 D rated players,
but no A, B, C or D+ rated players
-
Rec II - may have no more than 1 D rated player and 3 Rec
I rated players, but no A, B, C or D+ rated players
-
Rec III - may have no more than 2 Rec I rated players and
3 Rec II rated players, but no A, B, C or D rated players
-
Rec IV - may have no more than 2 Rec II rated player and
3 Rec III rated players, but no A, B, C, D or Rec I rated
